Hello friends! Once you see this post I’ll be on a plane and on vacation where I will not be able to post regularly. I will try to find a way. This poem is about summer. How fitting 🙂
“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.”– F. Scott Fitzgerald Continue reading
“Since I was 17 I thought I might be a star. I’d think about all my heroes,”– Jean-Michel Basquiat
A short poem on trying to keep up appearances. Lol It’s hard.
Here’s another little piece that I wrote. Vaguely inspired when I visited the Georgia O’Keffe exhibit the other day. The colours and vibrancy and the watercolour style from using oil on canvas was breathtaking.
“I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life – and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do.” -Georgia O’Keffe Continue reading
Hello friends, I’ve decided to post a random piece of poetry. It’s basically about procrastination and trying to convince myself (and you) to stop and actually “do something” productive. I have no idea how relatable this is. Here goes.
Recently I have fallen in love with an artist. John Mayer is a true gift. He has amazing talent and his lyrics are to a great extent something that I respect. So I’ve created a playlist to go along with all of these summer reads. They’re peaceful to accompany your nice reading time alone :). Yep, that’s pretty much it for catching up. On to the annual summer reading list, except this time with books I’m planning to read myself. If you’re still reading this, I applaud you.

Hey guys! I don’t have much time with school starting but I thought I should post 3 books that are perfect for a nice warm read at home. Side note, I’ve been loving cinnamon tea lately because of fall! There’s just something about it. Go and get yourself some to go with these books. Here goes: Continue reading
Hey there my fellow friends,
YAY! Exams are almost over. Only two more for me and I will be posting more reviews during the summer. I am proud that I’ve actually gotten some reading done to relieve some exam season stress.
So bye for now and see you soon!
P.S You guys are so supportive and amazing! Thanks for sticking by me and this blog! 🙂
I’m so sorry I haven’t done a book review or even done any of the book award nominations (currently 3 on hold). I have a good reason though. It’s April and almost May, which means final projects of the year, extra homework, tests all leading up the final exam. I find myself getting busier with extra-curriculars as well. I’m really not sure when I will post again, but please don’t give up on my blog. I am dedicated and I love it a lot! I’m just trying to say, that I’m still here and I won’t give up on my blog. It’s all getting started, and it will only get better from here!
I hope you guys are reading loads of good books! Tell me about some of them! I have time to respond to those! 🙂

I realized that I haven’t posted in a while. School has been really busy, but March break is coming up, which means more reading and hopefully more reviews. I’m currently rereading some books, but nothing much is happening. I know, this must be one of my most boring posts. To make this post better, here’s a email I got from an author. Her name is Anna Banks and she has some really light reads. You should check her out!
